A) Basmati Rice: Recognized for its long grains and distinctive fragrance, Basmati rice is predominantly cultivated in the Himalayan foothills of India and Pakistan. Varieties include 1121, Sona Masoori Rice, and Pusa Basmati Rice.
B) Non-Basmati Rice: This category encompasses diverse shapes and sizes, varying from long and slender to short and thick, and even bead-like or round.
